TL DR - Keurig is sending me a free replacement for a broken part on a 4 year old brewer when all I wanted was a way to purchase it. I purchased this K300 after the Vue packs became impossible to find.) I started with the B-50 then won a Vue brewer via a Twitter contest when they first came out. They certainly didn't have to replace this part, but the fact they did makes me even happier I made the switch to Keurig so many years ago. I'm happily surprised since I really like my current brewer and was having a really hard time picking one of the newer models that I actually liked.

Yesterday I got an "order notification" email! A second email soon followed telling me that my replacement part was ordered and I should see a shipping notification soon. Section 6 Recycling Vue Pack’s Plastic Cup 22 Section 7 Troubleshooting 23 Section 8 Warranty 28 Record Your Brewer Serial Number Above The serial number can be found on the bottom of the Brewer box and on the left side of the Brewer once the Water Reservoir has been removed. I was just hoping to purchase the part from them rather than chancing a fake part from eBay. Sent a photo of the serial number and the broken cup holder and told them I know the warranty is expired because of it's age. I figured this was fruitless since I know it's out of warranty and they were making it sound like a warranty claim. So while tossing back and forth the idea of buying a new one brewer or taking a chance with the eBay part I shot an email to Keurig to see if they could possibly sell me one even though it wasn't on their website.Ī few days later I got an email asking for my mailing address, the serial number of the brewer and place and date of purchase. It seemed eBay was the only option and those were either after market or listed as "refurbished." It's been discontinued and the only parts I could find were the drip tray. So I went to Keurig's website and started looking for parts for this brewer. Thankfully I had some cups with the exposed filter and my refillable k-cup to get me through but I needed to replace the holder so I could use the other cups I have. When I removed the cup holder assembly the piece that holds the needle fell out. I took the k-cup out and saw there was no hole or even an indention in the bottom. It may also have the make and model next to it also. The simplest way is to remove the drip tray from your brewer and look for the serial number. It uses a much larger cup and their carafe system is bigger too than previous versions. I used the little tool that came with it to clean the top needle and would get grounds in it because of how the cup was filling up and spurting out the top. The Keurig 2.0 accepts all Vue cups and K-Cups. I kept having to raise and lower the lid a few times and it would eventually work. Don't have the receipt anymore since it's obviously past warranty period.Īnyway a few days ago I noticed that when I'd insert a k-cup sometimes the brewer wasn't actually dispensing coffee into the cup. Be sure to document this number in your Use & Care. So I have a K300 brewer I bought somewhere like 3 or 4 years ago. The serial number on your Keurig brewer is an important identification, specific to your brewer.
